HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Welcome to the 30 club! (I joined last November).

Trust me, it's not as bad as I feared. It's kind of gone by mostly unnoticed, actually. I still feel about 20, so yeah. (It didn't hurt that I went to Islands of Adventure theme park for my 30th birthday and rode roller coasters and thrill rides until I was so hyped on adrenaline I would've felt like I was a 12 year old on a sugar high for weeks...)

Think of everything you've learned, all that you've experienced and all that you have left to experience!

I read a quote somewhere, or heard it somewhere that said, "Old is always 20 years older than I am."

Uh...yeah. So, now that all the psychobabble is out of the way...

You know, now that I'm 29, 30 doesn't sound so old. Just don't expect to be trusted by the younger generation (or was that just a '60s/ '70s thing?). Happy birthday anyway!

It sure as hell feels old. But then, I've always swung between being emotionally five years old and 85 years old.

dont feel blue, 30 is still extremely young.
